The 624th Regional Support Group, headquartered at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii, is the premier Air Force Reserve presence in the Pacific area of responsibility, and reports directly to Headquarters 4th Air Force at March Air Reserve Base, Calif .

Vision

Mission-ready and resilient combat- support warriors organized, trained and equipped to deliver enduring agile & expeditionary combat support against threats to Air Force, Joint, and Coalition missions; recognized and respected for our aerial port, civil engineering, security forces and medical expertise.

Mission

The 624th Regional Support Group delivers mission essential capability to combatant commanders through combat readiness, quality management and peacetime deployment and execution of six geographically separated units in the Pacific Theater. The Group provides world-class civil engineer, aerial port, security forces and medical combat support for Overseas Contingency Operations, humanitarian assistance and disaster relief and helps promote peace and stability in the Asia Pacific Region and throughout the world.

Resources

Present unit strength is approximately 650 assigned Airmen. Most RSG members are traditional reservists who serve in the military on a part-time basis, participating a minimum of one weekend a month as well as two-weeks of annual training each year. The full-time staff consists of approximately 30 Air Reserve Technicians or Active Guard/Reserve personnel and one civilian.

Hawaii-based organizations

624th RSG Headquarters Staff --
includes the Directorate of Personnel Management, Family Readiness, Cyberoperations, Plans and Programs, Logistics Readiness, Safety and Public Affairs provides a full complement of services to both ready reserve members and the retired military community.

48th Aerial Port Squadron -- Peacetime: Train personnel to provide sustained expeditionary support of aerial port operations at established, fixed and/or non-fixed terminals. Wartime: Deploy resources in support of AMC for contingencies or other higher headquarters-directed operations

624th Aeromedical Staging Squadron -- Peacetime: Train unit members to ensure full wartime mission capability; provide physical exams, immunizations, and occupational safety support to assigned 624th RSG personnel. Wartime: Activate and staff a 50-bed Contingency Aeromedical Staging Facility in deployed location and/or deploy a Critical Care Air Transport Team in support of AMC.

624th Civil Engineer -- Peacetime: Train and equip personnel for rapid deployment worldwide and to meet all contingency requirements to include Prime BEEF responsibilities. Wartime: Provide PACAF and combatant commanders with skilled personnel and necessary assets to prepare and sustain installations on a global basis, maintain airfield facilities, and provide fire-fighting support.

624th Security Forces Squadron -- Peacetime and Wartime: Provide highly trained security forces professionals to be the primary Air Force Reserve Command source of augmentation in the Pacific Air Forces area of operation - for security forces wartime and contingency support.

Guam-based organizations

44th Aerial Port Squadron --
 Peacetime: Train personnel to provide sustained expeditionary support of aerial port operations at established, fixed and/or non-fixed terminals. Wartime: Deploy resources in support of AMC for contingencies or other higher headquarters-directed operations.

624th Aerospace Medicine Squadron -- Peacetime: Train personnel to ensure full wartime mission capability, provide physical exams and immunizations to 624 RSG units in Guam. Wartime: Activate and staff a 50-bed Aeromedical Staging Facility in place or in a deployed location in support of AMC.

624th RSG Operating Location-Alpha (OL-A) -- Provides Group-level support and on-site Safety and Administrative support for 624 RSG units in Guam.
