Lieutenant Colonel Diego F. Noboa

Lt. Col. Diego F. Noboa is the 624th Civil Engineer Squadron Commander, headquartered at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii. He leads over 120 members who build, operate, maintain, and protect the infrastructure and facilities of Hickam Air Force Base. These efforts support U.S. national interest worldwide, including command and control capabilities for over 100 Pacific Air Bases and conceptual planning for equipment, personnel beddown, and engineering air force requirements. 

Lt. Col. Noboa was commissioned in July 2004 through the Reserve Officer’s Training Corps program at the University of California in Los Angeles. He earned undergraduate Electrical and Computer Engineering degrees at California Polytechnic University in Pomona June 2004. During his Air Force career, he served at the Range and Network Systems and in design and supporting engineering positions within Civil Engineering and Developmental Engineering Air Force Specialties. To include active duty and reserve assignments as an individual mobilization augmentation and traditional reservist. He has experience at multiple levels, including Program Manager, Testing Director, Chief of Operations, Chief of Data and Integrations, and Chief of Intelligence and Security. Furthermore, he also served in deployments supporting Operations ENDURING FREEDOM, INHERENT RESOLVE, and SPARTAN SHIELD. Prior to his current position, Lt. Col. Noboa was the Chief of Intelligence and Security, 922th Civil Engineer Flight, March Air Reserve Base, California.
