Maj. Bobbie-Jean Johnson is the Commander of the 624th Force Support Flight, headquartered at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii. She provides force support capabilities to the Commander who is responsible for the largest Air Force Reserve presence in the Pacific. The group consists of nearly 650 combat-ready Airmen who specialize in aerial port, aeromedical support, and civil engineering operations for worldwide employment.
Maj. Johnson was born in Calais, Maine, and graduated high school in 1999. She started her military career with the United States Air Force on February 5, 1999. After serving over seven years on active duty, she joined the Air Force Reserve as an Air Reserve Technician on February 2, 2007, and commissioned December 15, 2011.
Maj. Johnson has served in operations and contingencies in support of national objectives to include Operation ENDURING FREEDOM and INHERENT RESOLVE. She deployed as J1 Director, Joint Special Operations Air Detachment, in support of Special Operations Forces.
