Lieutenant Colonel Ronnie R. Guerrero

Lt. Col. Ronnie R. Guerrero is the 624th Aerospace Medicine Flight commander, 624th Regional Support Group, Andersen Air Force Base, Guam. He leads a flight of flight physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, and technicians in the fields of Dentistry, Health Services, Nursing, Optometry, Training, Medical Readiness and Logistics, and Phlebotomy. He is also the Credentials Monitor and Self-Inspection Officer. Lt. Col. Guerrero manages the full scope of unit-wide readiness and UE Inspection preparation and compliance.

Lt. Col. Guerrero entered the Air Force in 2003 after serving in the Guam Army National Guard from 1994 to 2000. He completed Health Services Administration Officer training in October 2005, acquiring skillsets in Medical Readiness, Medical Logistics, Health Services Administration, Medical Information Management and Information Technology, Health Plan Management, Resource Management, and Executive Management. Lt. Col. Guerrero has 25 total years of service in the Air Force Reserve, starting as the Battalion Aid Station Platoon Leader in the Guam Army National Guard from 1998 to 2000. He assumed the roles of Officer-in-Charge for Medical Readiness and Logistics Officer, Self-Inspection, Education and Training, Executive Management, and Administration for the 724th Contingency Aeromedical Staging Squadron in 2005 and remained so until the CASF transitioned into the 624th Aerospace Medicine Flight in 2010. In 2008, he took part in Contingency Aeromedical Staging Flight exercises in Hawaii and a brief real-world CASF mission in Germany, where he was the 724th Aeromedical Staging Flight’s primary Medical Service Corps officer in support of flight line patient movement of casualties transported from the Middle East to Ramstein Air Base and Landstuhl Hospital. Lt. Col. Guerrero assumed the role of Commander, 624th Aerospace Medicine Flight, on December 11, 2022.

Prior to assuming his current position, Lt. Col. Guerrero served as the Chief, Health Services Administration for the 624th Aerospace Medicine Squadron, where he oversaw all aspects of readiness, Administration, and the Management Internal Control Toolset program. He has dedicated his entire Air Force Reserve career thus far to the 624th Aerospace Medicine Flight.
