Colonel Brandon W. Stepp

Col. Brandon W. Stepp is the Commander of the 624th Regional Support Group, headquartered at Joint Base Pearl Harbor–Hickam, Hawaii. The 624th RSG, with units in Hawaii and Guam, delivers mission essential capability to combatant commanders through training, combat readiness, personnel management and oversight of six geographically separated units in the Pacific area of responsibility. The Group is the largest Air Force Reserve presence in the Pacific, providing more than 650 combat-ready Airmen who specialize in throughput of passengers, cargo, patients, and runway repair in the Pacific and worldwide.

Previously, Col. Stepp served as commander of the 439th Mission Support Group, Westover Air Reserve Base, Massachusetts. There, he led more than 1,000 Citizen Airmen and civilians in seven squadrons and three functional areas that provide peacetime and contingency mission readiness support for the Air Force Reserve Command.

Col. Stepp was commissioned in 2002 as a graduate of the ROTC program at the University of Alabama. He has served in a variety of positions at the installation, Numbered Air Force, Major Command, and Joint Staff levels. He has also served in a variety of statuses to include Regular Air Force, Traditional Reserve, Air Reserve Technician and is currently Active Guard/Reserve. His notable staff tours include Executive Officer to the Commander Fourth Air Force; Headquarters Air Force Reserve Command Logistics Readiness Branch Chief; and Strategic Planner on the Joint Staff.
