Mendoza assumes command of 624th RSG

Maynard “Max” Mendoza gives his remarks after assuming command of the 624th Regional Support Group during a ceremony held Sept. 8 at the Missing Man Formation, Aloha Aina Park, here. Colonel Mendoza is now responsible for managing the largest Air Force Reserve presence in the Pacific, which is comprised of six units in Hawaii and Guam. The group provides combatant commanders more than 650 combat-ready Airmen who specialize in aerial port, aeromedical staging, civil engineering and security forces operations for worldwide deployment.
