ASTS Superintendent retires after 24-year career
Senior Master Sgt. Richard Ugalde, 624th Aeromedical Staging Squadron Nursing and Aerospace Medicine Superintendent, watches as his wife Barbara places a retirement pin on his lapel at a ceremony held June 12 at the Courtyard of Heroes, Pacific Air Forces, Headquarters, Joint Base Hawaii Pearl Harbor Hickam. Sergeant Ugalde entered the U.S. Air Force in June 1986 as an Electronic Warfare Systems Specialist. After completing 5 and a half years of active duty service, he joined the Air Force Reserve in November 1991 cross-training as a Medical Service Specialist.
