Tattoo you: Know the AFI before you get ink
An attendee at the Pacific Ink & Art Expo displays the tattoo art on her hands, Blaisdell Exhibition Hall, Honolulu, Hawaii, Aug. 4, 2013. Her advice to those who have no tattoos was, "Don't do it!" She said that once one starts getting artwork done, it becomes addictive. According to the Air Force Instruction 36-2903, According to the Air Force Instruction 36-2903, a tattoo exclusively on the hand is allowed, but cannot exceed 25% of the exposed hand since the hand is considered a separate body part when wearing a long-sleeve uniform item.
