Citizen airmen serve with Guam Fire Department

A drone hovers outside the Onward Beach Resort, Tamuning, Guam, as the Guam Fire Department simulates a fifth floor structure fire with a trapped victim in a fire exit drill and rescue as part of Fire Prevention Week, Oct. 9, 2014. Guam hasn't had any major high-rise emergencies because of strict international fire codes that enforce fire protection systems. Many Air Force Reserve members, such as Chief Master Sgt. Joey Manibusan, serve fulltime with the Guam Fire Department, in addition to drilling one weekend a month and two weeks per year with the 44th Aerial Port Squadron or 624th Aerospace Medicine Squadron, located at Andersen Air Force Base, Guam.
