March 2018 Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve Event
A KC-135R Stratotanker boom operator with the Hawaii Air National Guard provides a tour of the KC-135 Stratotanker refueling boom simulator to Hawaiian employers during an Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve event March 1, 2018, at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii. The ESGR event, which included employers from the islands of Hawaii and Oahu and was hosted by the 154th Wing of the HIANG, included a presentation about the Guard and Reserve and tours of a static display and flight simulators for the KC-135 Stratotanker aircraft, and was used to promote cooperation and understanding between Reserve Component Service members and their civilian employers.
