EPLOs
Lt. Col. Michael Eldridge, an Emergency Preparedness Liaison Officer (EPLO) from Alaska, works in FEMA’s National Response Coordination Center in Washington, D.C. Colonel Eldridge deployed to support the fight against COVID-19. The Air Force Reservist works with other NRCC staff providing emergency management coordination, planning, resource deployment and collection and dissemination of disaster information — all at the national-level. A former combat rescue officer, Colonel Eldridge has 28 years of service with the Air Force, with five years as an EPLO in the Air Force Reserve.
