44th APS Supports Valiant Shield 2022
Master Sgt. Bedrick Briones spots Senior Airman Ethan So, while loading cargo onto pallet during Valiant Shield 2022, June 8, 2022 at Andersen Air Force Base, Guam. Both Briones and So are Reserve Citizen Airmen from the 44th Aerial Port Squadron. During Valiant Shield they are training to do additional jobs outside of their core Air Force Specialty Code, also known as the Multi-Capable Airmen concept. VS 22 is a biennial, U.S. only, joint field training exercise focused on integrations between U.S. Forces engaging adversary units at sea, in the air in space, on land, and in cyberspace in response to a range of mission areas.
