44 APS Assumption of Command
Maj. Benjamin G. Guerrero is the new 44th Aerial Port Squadron commander. Guerrero took command of the 44th APS during an assumption of command ceremony held at Andersen Air Force Base Guam, Sept.10, 2022. The 44th Aerial Port Squadron is the largest Air Force Reserve Command aerial port in the Command Area of Operations. It is the catalyst for the Air Force Agile Combat Support forces in the Pacific, in his position, he leads an operation that includes 190 Citizen Airmen and is responsible to organize, train and equip them so they are postured to respond to support Combatant Commanders within 72 hours.
