Vice President Michael R. Pence visited with approximately 100 local service members from all military branches, and their families, during a troop engagement at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, August 1, 2018. Pence mingled amongst the crowd, taking photos, shaking hands and thanking them for their service. The engagement came after the honorable carry ceremony, honoring the memory of those lost during the Korean War and welcoming home the remains of the fallen.
