  • 624th Regional Support Group Administers COVID-19 Vaccine

    Reserve Citizen Airmen from the 624th Regional Support Group received their first part of the COVID-19 vaccine March 7, 2021. The vaccine was administered and monitored for side effects by members of the 624th Aeromedical Staging Squadron along with the cooperation of the 15th Wing.
  • Citizen Airmen in Pacific promote mental, physical resilience

    September is Suicide Awareness Month, and the 624th Regional Support Group in Hawaii and Guam took this opportunity during the unit’s Unit Training Assembly Sept. 12-13 to focus on this topic and resiliency. The purpose of a resilience tactical pause is to take time out during the normal routine to open up with peers about important topics and provide a safe haven to discuss concerns, and the 624th RSG used this event to connect fitness with mental health and suicide prevention.
  • Medical Reservists in Pacific bid farewell to commander

    Members of the 624th Aeromedical Staging Squadron here physically and virtually said farewell to their commander Aug. 9 during a retirement ceremony. Col. Lee Bradshaw, who retired after 27 years of service, served as the 624th ASTS commander since 2016.
  • Reserve Aeromedical Staging Squadron in Pacific welcomes new commander

    Members of the Air Force Reserve’s 624th Aeromedical Staging Squadron here welcomed a new commander during a change of command ceremony Aug. 8. Col. Edward Johnson, who has nearly 20 years of Air Force experience, took command of the 624th ASTS from Col. Lee Bradshaw, who is retiring after 26 years of military service.
  • Pacific Warriors connect despite physical distancing

    Recognizing limitations imposed by the COVID-19 pandemic, Pacific Warriors here and in Guam utilized innovative solutions to increase social connections while keeping Airmen and families safe during their April unit training assembly. For the 624th Regional Support Group, restrictions and shelter-in-place orders didn’t mean training cancellations, but instead provided leaders the opportunity to conduct the first-ever virtual UTA in both locations.
  • Guam 'Port Dawgs,' Patriot Express mission is win-win situation

    Air Force Reserve Airmen from the 44th Aerial Port Squadron here worked with the active duty's 734th Air Mobility Squadron here March 7 to support the first Patriot Express mission to land in Guam. The chartered Patriot Express “rotator” aircraft, which provides a significant cost savings to the military community, flew from Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, Washington, with a brief servicing stopover in Anchorage, Alaska, before arriving.
  • Hawaii Reserve Citizen Airmen help keep power on at Bellows

    Reserve Citizen Airmen assigned to the 624th Civil Engineer Squadron here provide real-world support at Bellows Air Force Station during a unit training assembly Jan. 25. The work provided an opportunity to accomplish needed equipment maintenance support while performing hands-on upgrade training for mission readiness.
  • 624th RSG Commander, team feel the heat

    Things began to heat up for the 624th Regional Support Group Commander along with the 624th Civil Engineer Squadron Commander joined the 624th CES firefighting Airmen Nov. 2 at the Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam Field Training Area here during their unit training assembly. Col. Athanasia Shinas and Lt. Col. Reid Matsuda, 624th Civil Engineer Squadron commander, participated with the firefighters during their required annual hands-on external Aircraft Rescue Firefighting training scenario.
  • Pacific Warriors recognized with AOY awards

    Reserve Citizen Airmen from the 624th Regional Support Group were recently recognized with the Group’s 2018 Airmen of the Year awards during a presentation here March 3. These 624th RSG annual awards acknowledged Airmen for their superior leadership, job performance and personal achievements.
  • Training for any mission, any environment

    More than 40 Citizen Airmen from the 154th Wing, 313th Airlift Squadron and 624th Regional Support Group conducted joint aeromedical staging and aerial port training here March 3 in order to build relationships and train for future real-world missions. The event was a collaborative effort between the Air National Guard and Air Force Reserve focused on both enroute patient care and staging, and cargo preparation and loading.
